Coal India

Coal India Limited (CIL) is a state-owned Maharatna public sector undertaking under India's Ministry of Coal. Headquartered in Kolkata, it is the single largest coal producer in the world, responsible for over 75% of India's domestic coal output and powering about 55% of the country's electricity generation.
